The Inside Scoop on Gaming

Well, if you're into superhero games, this one is at least as slick as the updated marvel rules. It's a nice looking game, and has the DC universe working in it's favour. Unfortunately, the quality of the book & binding is a little low, looking something like a final draft of a script printed off a good laser printer. The pages are thin and easily smudged, the cover is not heavy enough stock for the thickness of the book (approx 200 pages). Haven't played yet, but the rules at first read seem pretty streamlined. Pros: DC universe of characters ('specially villains), a decent stystem. Cons: Poor quality materials means it probably won't stand up to too much transport in my backpack. At least, not for the cover price of a hardback.

Let's wait for the JLA Supplement to help flesh out that awesome game world...due January or February at last check with the good folk at west end.
