This was one of the first additions to my Space Marine force, and overall, I'm pretty pleased with the product. I'll start out by describing what comes in the box. You get about 8 plastic sprues, which contain weapons, backpacks, legs, arms, shoulder pads, heads, torsos, weapons, and little extras. Also included are 10 bases (just to make sure that your minis don't fall over on the table top ;) ).
The variety is pretty good, better than the old lead ones. As far as I can tell, there are seven different varieties of heads, five different torsos, 3-4 different legs, multiple different arms, backpacks, and guns. Extras include medals, scopes, holsters, grenades, and missles.. The entire kit is plastic, which I'm thankful for. With the kit, you can make 10 marines, including a sergeant, a flamer thrower trooper, and a missle launcher trooper. The rest of the squad is armed with bolters. On a side note, everyone can be equipped with bolters, if that's what you like. The models are very well sculpted, and they look great on the tabletop. The models were easy enough to glue together, and didn't give me a hassle at all (no cut fingers, ma!). Once done with putting them together, you're left with 2 heads, a couple guns, multiple arms, and even a complete torso, which is great to throw in a box for later. I didn't mind paying for this box, and it was a joy to assemble (unlike some other GW products). No complaints from me.
Style: 5 (Excellent!)
