This is another of the GT books that covers another one of those old Traveller campaign types that people used to love to run...merchants! This book gives you the material to purchase cargo, transport it, and sell it on another world. The rules even manage to correct some of the flaws in Classic Traveller's economic model. My only caveat with the operation of a merchant ship is that there's going to be a lot of dice-rolling, and quite a bit of record keeping. I suspect that some current gamers will moan at this, but Classic Traveller players will be licking their chops.
This book includes a huge amount of information on running various business with the GT universe, along with chracter templates, starship plans, and merchant information for an entire subsector (though there's a lot of errata in this information). I highly recommend this book for any GT gamer, and as an added bonus its rules dovetail quite nicely with the planetary rules in First In (the GT Scouts supplement). I give this book an "A."
Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
