RPGnet : The Inside Scoop on Gaming

I recently ordered and received the Sparks! Dan Smith collection - a collection of paper stand-up miniatures in Windows (and Mac) True-Type font format. For almost no money, I now have an endless supply of top quality paper miniatures.

The first set is a sampler, containing the following figures:

Bugg, an insect-like space alien
Daisy, a gun-toting young woman
EuroTrash, a modern-day assassin with two submachineguns
Ragnarok Joe, your standard fantasy Dwarf with an axe
Skeletomancer, a liche in the process of casting a spell
Star Lawman, a futuristic warrior in combat armor
Urban Legend, a nasty tentacle-beast lurking below the ground
Object, a humanoid form composed of rocks
Big*ss Ogre, a fantasy ogre with ball & chain and shield
Sorcerer, a human-like fantasy mage.

Each figure is incredibly well drawn, fully scaleable font character, and this set has something for everyone. I just think that this is a neat idea that was beautifully executed, and deserves to be in every gamer's inventory.

And, this is just the beginning. The authors are working on more sets, including a set of science fiction figures, and a set of the Undead. Hopefully, many more sets will follow.
