If you've ever worked a Renaisance Festival, you'll die laughing when you see this game.

The ad copy says it all; this is a game that mirrors behind-the-scene Faire politics and makes it funny. The players are entertainers at a Renaisance Festival. Their goal is to please the crowds and the owner so they can return next year.

The catch is that there can be only one entertainer next year, due to budgetary constraints- such as the owner's incompetance, brain-dead stupidity, frothing-mad greed or power-tripping ego. (Yes, it truly is that bad.) The object of the game, therefore, is to be the one who returns next year.

How do you do it? You roam the board, going from stage to stage, and you perform before the crowds. During this time, you can sabotage your rivals by heckling them and you can run afoul of the owner. (He's called "Richard.") The former allows you to steal stages from your foes, and the later screws with your crowds by acting like an ego-tripping prick.

Successful shows garner points. The first player to reach (X) points wins. (X) is usually 50, but you can change it if you like. This is a fun game that's best play with three or more people. Everything you need is either around your place or in the envelope. Rennies, such as myself, will adore this game's black humor value.

Note to Cheapass Games: One of you is/was a Rennie, or you know one. There's no way you folks could've captured the BS that goes on after hours without one of us. Thanks for a good game that's also a great laugh.
