Infinite Imaginations 'Quest For Power' is not only unique, but also very playable for people who have never gamed before. The first two times I played, we taught two people who had never gamed before to play. A first gaming experience tends to be a trial by fire for most, but the structure of the Quest made it great fun for everyone. Play a module more than once? Yes, we did, and it was different every time. Each character experienced different tasks and foes in each journey.

'Quest For Power' is not too simple for the experienced gamer, however, and it does allow numerous chances for role-playing of characters. If I want to play a good-aligned character, I will obviously not help the thief from robbing the peasants. Yet if I am evil, I may do just that.

Another feature of the game is the ability to battle other player characters. My brothers character, Donk, wanted to challenge my character, Maleficent, to prove who was the 'better'. Sadly, Maleficent lost that battle, but she came back to challenge Donks younger brother, Dinky, for crimes committed by his elder sibling. Maleficent later battled the feared Lich Lord. He fought vainly, but in the end was overcome (just barely) by Maleficent's spells, and with the aid of her many mercenaries.

The battles fought by these characters in the 'Quest For Power' universe were varied and extraordinary. I do recommend this game to anyone interested in gaming, new or experienced. Very little preparation time is required, but hours of great adventures unfold. Maleficent, Talien, Donk, and Dinky await their next challenge in a new world created by 'Quest For Power' with impatience and eagerness.
