The Dragon Roars is a scenario book for Battletech that covers Operation Bulldog, the House Kurita assault on the Smoke Jaguar held occupation zone. There are 12 scenarios, each showcasing some aspect of the operation. Each battle takes place on different worlds in the occupation zone and gives the history and background of the entire operation and the forces involved.

I like the fact that there are scenarios for Battlespace and Battleforce 2. For the Battleforce scenario, the unit rosters are already filled out. This is a great touch that speeds set-up of the Battleforce scenario.

The Battletech scenarios are pretty interesting too. There are some small scenarios that I played through, one involving Inner Sphere vs. Clan duelling, and those were relatively quick and fun. There are the standard company sized engagements, and there is also a rather large six map affair that looks pretty good, but I don't know if I'll ever have time for.

Battlespace players get one scenario. I don't have Battlespace and I can't tell you about that. The Battleforce scenario is quite good and involves an ad hoc Clan unit and two IS battalions. Playing this scenario out took about 5 hours.

The book includes a complete order of battle for all the forces involved, and I suppose with some work you could make a Planetary Assault scenario out of it.

It's a good overview of a large scale campaign and could spark some ideas for a campaign of your own. If FASA puts out more scenario books that include Battleforce scenarios, the addition of ready made roster sheets is an excellent idea.
