This is a great miniature! Baalbek of Jalahandra is well crafted, detailed and not flat. By flat I mean that the miniature has all the "movement" and positioning of a snow angel or a rock-em sock-em robot.
There was not much flash on the figure I picked up and it only took a few minutes or preparation before I primed it. But some of the moulding lines are a bit tricky to get to and the flash on the chain is something to look for. Niether really were terribly challenging, though the chain filing may not be obvious. It was an easy paint as the detail is not over done and the ridges and gullies on the surface made for great dry brushing and washing. Baalbek of Jalahandra is expressive and clearly evil, as the heads hanging of his belt might indicate. His viscious evil toothy grin is one of the first things I noticed aside from his nasty weighted chain. The heads hanging of the belt I could have done without. The look on his face makes it pretty clear this is not a good guy! All in all, an exceptional miniature, even by Reaper's usually high standards.
Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
