Short and sweet, yet fully-packed.
That's the short of it, though that'll never do... tEAoBM (I am *not* going to write that out every time) is a role-playing game in the loosest sense of the word. There are no dice, no lengthy discourses on rules. Instead, you make up a name, you tell a story, you drink beverages, you wager, you duel. The format is easy. Someone starts by asking another person to tell a story of the time they "replinished the entire treasury of Lichenstein in a single day" or something to that effect. A story is launched, drinks are drunk. Others can interfere in the story - "Wasn't that statue smashed then?" or "Wasn't the Danish Foreign Legion looking for you at that point?" - by wagering a coin. You can discount that interruption with another coin, or accept it. In the end, the players vote, and the winner buys a round of drinks. All in all, the book is succinct yet fully-packed with an interesting read. The game is a helluva lot of fun to play, particularly in a "party" type situation or at a bar - somewhere where a normal role-playing game can be cumbersome or awkward.
Style: 5 (Excellent!)
