The Mighty Eye

A look at neat, relevant projects by RPGnet people

Places To Go, People To Be

Far too many people know of Places To Go, People To Be merely from their humorous press releases here on RPGnet (even if they do make up fake quotes by me). In reality, it's one of the best ezines out there, and a worthy heir to such print magazines as "Interactive Fantasy" and "Arcane". In fact, at one point (when it was thought that rpg.net had venture capital) I suggested we should buy it simply to leave it unchanged. Thank goodness that fell through... but enough about us. Visit it and enjoy!

Places to Go People to Be

The On-line Magazine for Roleplayers

Issue 17, May 2001

In this issue:

Is it that time again? Hoo boy. Well, this issue, we're once again fully locked and loaded with gaming goodies. Jesse Burneko fires the first shot, asking if we've got our thoughts on rules flexibility backwards. Then Jody gives us the lowdown on some new freelance adventures for D&D3E. Brendan Arnold and Rebecca Stevenson bring up the rear with a look at sharing narrative control, and superhero gaming, respectively. Zap! Kapow! Get reading! Ed.
