First of all, don't get mad. This is a good thing. Really. I'm afraid I'm going to have to short you a column this week. You see, things have gotten down to that final, insane push to get everything exactly the way I want it for the release of UnderWorld, and I'm afraid that when it comes down to getting work done so that the game can reach your hot little hands in time, or getting work done on this column, the main work is always going to win out. So, this week's column has been pre-empted. I'm up to my eyeballs in final work on the game, so I'm sure you'll forgive me. Until I finish the work on my plate (only another couple of weeks to go), this column will be spotty at best. I have to concentrate. I'll still participate in the forums, and you will be getting additional columns--they just won't be weekly for a little while, while I get everything together. In the meantime, for those of you who are Pyramid subscribers, I'm going to be hosting a live chat tonight at 8 p.m. eastern time ( 7 central). I'll be talking about UnderWorld. Hope to see you there. See ya in....well, when I get the chance. Gareth-Michael Skarka
