LATEST UPDATE -- Stir Crazy contestant fingered for druggie past
Chuck Knop, drug counselor and ex-convict, has come forward to accuse Stir Crazy contestant Michael Hayes of an ongoing pattern of drug dealing and abuse.
"I knew him when he was a concert promoter and I was a roadie," Knop told the Tabloid, in an exclusive interview. "He sold me drugs when he knew I was trying to quit. Laughed in my face. This is not the sort of person we want as a role model to others on our nation's television screens."
Knop places Hayes drug activities after his 2011 pardon for offenses committed in the 1990s. "He wasn't dealing then, maybe, but he sure was using. And tried to hook me all over again."
To those guessing what Hayes' powers are, Knop offers a clue: "I guy I know said that Hayes got in a beef over unpaid bills and got his finger cut off after being slammed in a car door accidentally on purpose. But you see he's got all ten fingers now. Because it grew back!"
