- The Ten Commandments of Directing a LARP - Sandy Petersen gives good advice for those preparing to direct or run a live roleplaying event.
- Freeform Tips - Mark Grundy's advice for setting up Freeforms.
- The Anatomy of a Freeform - Bejamin Kemp discusses the basic structure of an interactive drama in this humourous article previously published in the Macquariecon 98 Handbook.
- Chronicle Stress Syndrome - This is an excellent article with advice on how to spot and deal with stress related to running a chronicle or long term interactive drama troupe. While Lara vanderZee specifically discusses Mind's Eye Theatre storytellers here, her advice is applicable to stress situations faced by any interactive dramatist or director, particularly those associated with permanent troupes.

- How to Build Scenarios - Food for thought by Lawrence Wilkinson. This has very little - actually nothing - to do with live roleplaying but it still might give a few folks some ideas.
