I used to play a lot of White Wolf games back in the 90s. One of my biggest pet peeves where they people who would say "My character is terrible in combat." and other such statement. The implication was that they were great role-player because of this. It was such BS; wow, your playing a Fianna Gaillard who likes to sing at moots, or a Malkavian who talks to a sock puppet. These people were often some of the worst role-players out there, not to mention pretentious. Hell, just to turn the tables a little I made a Fianna Galliard who kicked ass, Howls-Into-Battle. He was pack leader, through leadership as much as strength, and his eventual death (in battle of course) actually threw the other characters into a funk. Warrior characters can often be as much fun to role-play as non-warrior one.
