Ok, looking at your articles I think I have a good one, It combines the dueling collect 'em all mentality of Pokemon with the grimm sex, drugs and rock&roll dogfighting world of the award winning Amores Perros. All characters are desperate Perro trainers, who leave their crappy jobs (dealers, street performers, car jackers and burocracy employees) for an evening of illegal gambling on dog fights. Train your adopted or purchased dogs (with a series of backgrounds themselves) and bet on them to win mad pesos! Then paint the town (Mexico City) red with your earnings! Also what is your characters motives? The "nice guy" looking for a way out? Drug dealer with nothing better to do on a weekday night? Public school teacher who just enjoys the bloodyness of it?
Mmm.. as soon as Ive got some rules set up I'll post it for you guy's.
