I saw on a documentary that dolphins and other cetaceans can hunt for smaller prey by projecting focused sound waves through that organ on their foreheads in order to stun them.
There is a hypothesis that sperm whales may also do this to hunt giant squid, but it can't be proven because no one has ever seen a giant squid alive, much less locked in mortal combat with a sperm whale.
