In a not too old issue of the punisher he falls into a bear pit at the zoo. One look at them and he mutters something like "furry, cuddly, inofensive... this simply wont do". He procedes to punch one in the face and get the heck out of the pit. The next few people who entered looking for him encountered seriosly enraged bears. "Oh look: Bears!" exclaims one with a happy face before he gets his head knocked off. Not too realistic but it makes sense... magically, chemically and psychologically manipulated animals will attack, and quite efficiently. Also some defensive mechanisms will cause that too... take insects and scents for instance. You slay one giant insect and before you can exclaim "sweet, 45 xp!" you realize theres a swarm coming at you. What have we learned?
-Magic missle a monsters butt near an opponent.
-Throw a smoke bomb near the giant hornets nest.
-Frighten your enemies mounts with illusions.
-Lead giant rats to your fellow pc's homes with rotten meat.
-Grab a scorpion with your gauntlet and drop it into the back of some ones robe.
-Use illusionary scents to manipulate.
-Just leave the poor things alone and look for a real threat like briggands and bandits.
