I'm sitting here on a slow day at work reading the entire Underworld saga, and I am fascinated. I wanna play this!! It's a great setting with some truly original, wonderfully imaginative ideas. I love the concept of taking ordinary things and giving them an extraordinary context. The similarity that keeps coming to mind is the world of Mad Max -- all this every-day detritus having new-found value. I'll certainly be looking out for this when/if I hit GenCon this year.

One (I think) cool idea I keep having is related to the Radience, and its effect on technology the deeper you get into the Underworld. I just have this image of some Bravo or big-game hunter type going deeper and deeper, starting with an modern rifle, then going down to an M-1, then a six-shooter, then a musket, then a blunderbuss, then a crossbow, etc., etc., always carrying the most modern weapon he can until the Radience makes it useless, then ramping down to the next weapon. I can see it now -- he aims the M-1 at the ravenous beast and >click<. "Damn, so it's the Colt now, is it?" Maybe not as a PC, but it could be a great NPC guide character.

Anyway, congrats on a great job.
