While we are talking about the future of roleplaying, I am interested to know what the people out there look for in a game. Let's forget WoTC's study for the moment. Here's YOUR chance to say what the ideal game is to you.
Some things to consider:
What is important? Setting? System? Character Generation?
How complex should the system be?
Should Character Creation be simple and quick? Complex? Comprehensive? Realistic?
Generic rules or Setting specific?
Realism? Cinematic?
Story-based rules? Character-based Rules? Attributes?
The Gemini RPG removed the intelligence attribute, stating that we always end up roleplaying our own level of intelligence, and thus all characters should be of the same level as we are. Do you agree?
Costs - what are you willing to sacrifice to allow a game to be cheaper to buy?
Electronic PDF vs Published book - which do you prefer?
Do you only play one type of game or multi genre?
I await to see your replies. :)
