 Roman Religion & RPG

Salvete!

I've been planning on a Roman campaign myself (1st century AD) and my curious if anyone had any ideas about adapting the priest class. I've had some trouble working this out given that Roman priests were not really ascribed any supernatural power (aside perhaps divintation) and were more often politicians than a professional clergy.
