Well, hate to say that, but I didn't really like those samples provided. Way too cheesy, and non-inspired. I understand that this is aimed at the amateur, but that's the kind of pictures I would expect... from a total amateur.
I fail to see the point of taking a course if the end result is this.
You need to take a far deeper look (among other things) at image composition, guys. I could go on and on about what I don't like, but I won't. This is totally unrelated to RPGs anyway, so I fail to see the point of plugging this, really.
I thought plugging it once was ok. It's an interesting idea, and I wish you good luck. It is my opinion that there are wonderful books on the subject available, some of them as thick as a brick. They will do an equally good job at teaching a beginner the basics (and even pros will learn from these). But, heck, it's worth a try I guess.
