I cancelled my CoC game which was scheduled on the night of the 11th. I didn't think it was appropriate to do anything entertainment-oriented that day, because to me it should be reserved for mourning. It also happened to be my birthday, which I postponed celebrating until the 12th this year.

But I did celebrate on the 12th, and my game will resume. The reason is that I don't want those scum-sucking invertebrate terrorists to have any victory at all. I hope we rebuild the Twin Towers. I don't want them to take any more away from us than they already have.

Americans do not bend before coercion. Though I am sad and I pray for the victims and their families (and even for the perpetrators, for that matter), I plan to continue living my life. Mourning is appropriate to a certain extent, but we cannot let those filthy murderers take away our joy, any more than we can let them take away our liberty or our culture.

If somebody doesn't feel like playing right now, be supportive. But if you can at all stand it, go play. You'll feel better.
