I finished Perdido Street Station a couple of months ago and I was very impressed. China seems to have accomplished what a lot of gamers and aspiring writers would just about kill for. China has a real gift for language and originality, though, and he really deserves the awards (and book contracts) that he has received. It's also cool to see a successful writer who takes a lot of inspiration from RPGs. Thanks for doing the interview, Gareth.
