Good article. You know the just in time [i]disease[/i] you mentioned is even more rampant in the distributor end of things. I understand that space is money, time on the shelf is money, but I get tired of trying to order 12 of something and the distributor (and we're talking big here) only having 8.
I cannot recall a time when new hobby products had shorter shelf lifespans!
