*I* was making an RPG mechanic that utilized colors instead of numbers. My idea was all RPG mechanics (OK, OK MOST RPG mechanics. Give me a break) are numerical, constantly going up, up, up. I was looking for something that worked on a similar principal principal of rock-paper-scissors.
You know:
scissors beat paper
paper beats rock
rock beats scissors
No one is better than the other. each one beats one of the others and is beaten by the one of the others.
The color wheel offers this with an added level of compelexity when you figure in complimentary colors and stuff.
ARGH!
