Greetings, Hilary! I applaud you on your take on armor and the female form, though I realize that it's a first draft (albeit a damn fine first draft, mine usually look bloody aweful).
There are a couple glaring things what I've noticed however:
Chain armor does NOT protect you from arrows, and neither does plate plate protect you from blunt weapons-- the mace is the best can opener around.
Another error is the assumption that most armor (especially plate) was made by size. Armor (especially plate) was expensive and for the most part was custom made for the wearer, especially Maxinillian Plate. Yes, Chain could be made in generic sizes, but if one could afford chain in the first place, getting it sized to fit shouldn't be a problem. If a woman wanted a suit of armor for herself, she'd have to get an appointment with that armorer anyway.
