Hello all-
1. The root of this column stems from a conversation I had back in 1997 with a gentleman named Joe Skupniewitz. Applying Maslow's theory to LARP logistics was really his idea- it merely rattled around inside my head until I had an opportunity to share it.
2. I apologize profusely for the use of underscores (_) to set off words that should be in italics. That's a nasty habit I picked up from years of using a UNIX-based text-only email application. Only recently did I beat it down for good, and some of thse columns were written last year. I am a bad boy for not re-formatting my older work, and I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
