Some useful suggestions for starting a fantasy campaign, but I was just wondering whether this was the intended focus of the columns. Is there any intention to include details for modern, SF and other settings?

One of the restrictions of a fantasy campaign is the limited ability, or tendency, for travel. This is not such a restriction on other settings, and so provides different opportunities for characters to meet. It also becomes harder to use the same incentives to keep characters together (while a group of adventurers/mercenaries is a staple of the fantasy genre, it is somewhat out of place in modern settings).

If the column is just intended to look at fantasy rpgs, that's okay, but I thought I'd find out if other genres would be covered.

Paul
