Very thorough indeed. I usually complain about this particular column because it contains mostly fluuf that I cant use at all for my own(sadly defuct atm) CHAMPIONS campaign.
Still the subject of costuming isnt that big an isue in most games but it is the 1 thing you first notice on a hero or villain and often you decide your reaction based on that.
I dont know how much I would refer to this column in designing a character but I do know that I would attempt to and applaud the efffort that went in to this column
