Matt has some interesting words on using Brave New World with a different system. The problem though, is that unless AEG has started some honor system, I'm still paying full price for half, or less, or a book. I do enjoy the setting. At a time where almost every game out there for the super hero genre though is point based, or customizable, to simply say, "Hey, you don't like the system, use a different one." shows no appreciation of how expensive the Brave New World setting is.

The real question, is how much trouble would it be to include optional rules to allow customization? How much trouble would it cause to have some advanced rules? Sure, the game is faily simple, but there are some points where even experienced GMs may scratch their beards and ponder what is being written. No ame is perfect. To hide the lack of a customizable system behind easy is poor marketing. To hide lack of system behind another system, is lazy.

Just my two cents.
