OK, so it's been a weird week for columns. But ignoring this week's "sex" theme, I've noticed a trend for columnists to be more provocative in general. Is this a new conscious policy, or just a coincidence? And will it continue - will we be seeing columns about "Roleplaying and abortion" or "Roleplaying and gun-control" (to pick two classic subjects you should avoid on usenet) in the future?

[As for this column, I thought it was generally good, though bound to generate more heat than light from people who demand that we Acknowledge Their Pain or foolishly mention certain words (like "choice") that are bound to result in uninteresting distractions]
