Having followed this discussion with some interest, I have decided to share with the group my own solution to this ancient (well, at least as old as disco) problem.
Sex: The Larp
A game for 2 or more players.
Ages 18 and over (unless you like jail time or live in Alabama).
Required for play: 2 or more players. A reasonably private area. Lots of enthusiasm.
Our optional expansion packs can aid your enjoyment of Sex: The Larp. Try these:
Chains of Love – Boxed set. Includes manual, hand-cuffs (fur-lined or stainless steel), riding crop and instructional fold out poster.
Fruits of Passion – Boxed Set. Includes expanded rules for improvisational sex and a subscription to the Fruit of the Month club for one year. (Warning: Not to be used with Kiwis [Either the fruit or anyone from New Zealand] ).
Hentai Special Edition – sourcebook. Includes patterns for making sailor suits and a color coded index of popular (but odd) shades of hair dye. (Note: Tentacles can be purchased separately.)
Warning: Safety equipment strongly suggested. (See insert A12.)
Introduction
Welcome to the world of Sex: the Larp. It is a world much like our own, except everyone gets laid a lot more often. Join the intrepid band of Eroto-explorers as they search every nook and cranny, every craig and jutting spire in the search for ultimate connubial bliss.
Beware however the dark forces of Puritanex, Inc. These malfeasant beings of ultimate evil will seek to crush any sexual encounter with ruthless efficiency. Beware the dark forces of The Kids, The Phone, The Deadline, The Drop-in Pal and of course, the insidious Headache!
Unlike many LARPs, Sex actively encourages, even promotes touching the other players. No tedious cards, dice or hand games…er..well, some hand games on appropriate occasions.
We hope to release S:tL sometime soon, but we appear to be going into yet another round of playtesting. Oddly enough, this phase of game design has lasted several years.
