Move forward with it. Just be a little more careful with references. For instance, referring "sympathy" to antropology is not that ingenious since the usage of "sympathy" and "antypathy" in relation to magic and medecine pre-dates the science of antropology by centuries if not milenia.
Other than that, the subject has a lot more appeal than just to horror games, as your column demonstrates. Yet, it would be interesting to have insights into how to change the approach to, say, witchcraft in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, etc.
