(I haven't actually read more than a paragraph or so, being at work; thus, these will be relatively content-free comments.)

(1) I personally prefer PDFs, as the odds of them being virus-infected are much smaller (even nil?). No offense to Sergio and Aeon and their virus-prevention techniques; I'm just paranoid.

(2) The final version would be much better served with a different typeface -- e.g. Goudy (available at Adobe's site, I believe) -- that looks a little more antique. Times works fine, but won't evoke the right feel for the reader.

(3) I like the in-character chapter titles with the gamey subtitles; evocative, yet not completely obscure.
