The reviewer states:

"License games would be made with big money, with much the same results as every other license game in the history of gaming, i.e. they’d still all flop like fish on dry land"

Dude.

The Buffy and Angel RPGs are IMO two of the best RPGs on the market today - they have good production values, inspired system design, and are well-written, and have a strong and stable fan base. G.O.O. also made some fairly successful RPGs based on various anime and kung-fu licenses, and Star Wars is one of the most enduring RPG licenses around (first published by W.E.G., now by Wizards.

I have a feeling you don't really know enough about the industry to quantify a lot of the statements you made in your article.
