If you're not going to talk about GNS, then don't. After all, you've made this statement about "not talking about GNS" then gone on to say "what GNS says about design" but said something GNS doesn't say about design. GNS isn't talking about design at all, only "instances of play" and actual play. The point made therein is that you cannot prioritize all three at the same time in play: at some point in time, the desire for a cinematic choice is going to supercede the desire for realism, or vice versa.
So, if you are creating your own framework, just avoid any and all GNS discussions, reflections, statements, etc., for example, if the above distinction I've made about what GNS says about prioritization is unclear to anyone, it should probably be discussed on the forums either here or on the Forge. Other than that, don't try to say what you think GNS is saying, when you admit openly you know very little about it.
(Why? How annoyed do you get when someone goes off about what quantum mechanics entail and what that means, and you find out later that they "read a book about it, once".)
