The name "hoofed ladies" seems a little clumsy to me, like the race was obviously made up and added to fill a niche unlike classical and identifiable names from folklore and myths like Satyr. That said, the idea of hoofed ladies is quite common in fairy tales of western Europe, and if I could I would suggest using the "Huldre" or "Huldra" of Scandinavian myth, who fit the description quite well.
The name means "hidden folk", and although originally it was used as a term for elves of both a male (Huldre-kall) and female (Hulder) variety, in later stories the Huldre were always described as beautiful females who looked completely human except that their long green dresses hid hoofed feet or, in some cases, hollow backs.
The French variety were the "Dames Vertes".
