 Blood Sword and roles...

In the multi-player gamebook "Blood Sword" series, there's the Sage, whom is entitled to extra knowledge about artefacts and creatures. The Trickster is a hybrid rogue-bard who can pick locks and bluff people at the same time. There was one time which the Trickster could choose to spike some fruit juice with wine, and uses it to knock some unsuspecting merchants out (who due to their religion, never drunk alochol).
