home of the Orion's Arm project. They are essentially an exercise in world-building, but they happily welcome RPG interest. They try to be as "hard" as possible, and forbid humanoid aliens. They *claim* to forbid FTL, but get around this with artificial wormholes, so it amounts to the same thing as far as dramatics is concerned. They are very fond of nanotech, genetic engineering, and transhuman AIs.
