I enjoyed this article. I was not familiar with "the Pool" before reading this article. I think you provided plenty of context information about the Pool for people to understand the rest of your article.
I liked the information on West and how his game and similar games are influencing a new type of role-playing system. When I read this I got a sense of the creativity and innovation that is going on in the RPG world.
Please don't give in to the people that want you to explain every detail of systems you talk about. I think your articles would become much drier.
