Sandy's Soapbox #176: A Brilliant Ready-to-play RPG Romp Redux

Sandy's Soapbox
The wisest among us might note it's a new year. In response to my last column providing a brilliant ready-to-play RPG romp, some people (and by some, I mean 'none') have suggested the scenario was too Christmasy.

That's death for a product. You can only sell Xmas-themed stuff once a year, though I admit you can drag it out each year without changing it, like zombie santa manages. And sure, I'm not actually selling it. But I don't believe in limits. Not at all. I even send 141 character tweets to prove it.

Getting back to adventuring, then, here's a lead-in. Choose any mix from the below pull-down choices. Seriously. Don't try to align them or assume one set goes with another. The adventure is about malevolent entities that are capturing metaphoric incarnations of human concepts, ergo, such things as 'continuity' or 'coherence' need not apply.

You and your colleagues are

in or at

during

Someone has captured:

... and chaos will result if that primal force is not freed! The only way to do it is via the steps of this ready-to-play RPG romp.

Until next month,
Sandy
